About the Farm

Trimble Farms began in 1971 when Leo Trimble moved down from DFW to start a dairy. Leo and his sons, Bobby and Danny, built the original dairy across the valley from the current one and began milking hundreds of Holsteins for bulk milk sales for milk-by-the-gallon and many other products in stores. They were so successful they need a larger milk parlor and built the one you see at the farm today.

About 15 years ago, the bulk milk prices could not support the size of farm that was Trimble Farms. At that time they decided to sell off the Holstein herd and look for other ventures. A few years after that Bobby decided to try milking a few Jerseys and selling the raw milk. From cow to cooler to jug. It started slow but has picked up significantly over the years and helped Bobby add the storefront you all know and love to the front of the 2nd generation dairy barn.

Once the milk took off the farm expanded to offer grass fed beef as well. Today Trimble Farms is still run by Bobby. He has a little help in the kitchen and some days of milking but runs and does the majority of the work on the farm himself.

Since 1971 this back to basics farm has provided high quality fresh farm items for health conscious East Texas families. Come on out for a visit any time and you may just catch Bobby tending to the cows, stocking shelves, or jugging that delicious Jersey Raw Milk!
